my name is josh and have these physical characteristics:
i am the following:
i was born and raised in hong kong but am currently studying electrical engineering at ucla. contrary to most asian parents, my parents are ambivalent to my decision to pursue this major due to its apparent clash with my personality. i am a mostly extroverted person, however i do not believe in such a term as outlined in my explanation of my mind so perhaps it is better to say i am outspoken, and picking such a tedious subject comes off as dissonant to most people's perception of me.
i don't know why, but i feel like my brain's ability to use strong diction has degraded since high school. or actually, maybe i only noticed that my word choice recently has been quite weak. i started to realize this when i was taking a control systems class and my portugese professor used the term a priori, robust, and one other hard word in a sentence. a chinese professor that taught circuit theory also used the word tether so naturally, which made me wonder how come people who have english as their second language seem to have significantly more sophisticated vocabulary than every anglophone i know. as an exercise in vocabulary, i will write in this website with stronger, more descriptive language. this does not mean more technical or that the words are longer, it just means the words i use should affect more than your knowledge but your emotions and mental imagery as well.
